Description
Originally manufactured in 2001, this John Petrucci JP6 is finished in Gold Sparkle and is “fully loaded” featuring the optional painted matching headstock, JP shield inlays, and piezo tremolo bridge. The pickups are the original custom-wound DiMarzio neck and bridge humbuckers.
This guitar is in fantastic condition, but does have some minor play & very light fret wear. There are some dings on the edge and back of the headstock, as well as some cracks/chips around the piezo module. There are some very faint finish cracks around the neck pocket which are difficult to both see and photograph, but they are indeed there. These cracks are somewhat common to see on the earlier JP guitars and are strictly a cosmetic issue that does not affect the play-ability or reliability of the instrument. There are no noticeable dings, dents, or scratches elsewhere on the body.
The electronics function properly, with very little to no “scratchiness” in the pots. The piezo saddles all work perfectly and have even output.
Set up to factory specs and strung with Ernie Ball 10-46.
The guitar will come with the original style form-fit hard-shell case, and will ship in factory style packaging.
