This is a one-of-a-kind piezo-equipped Silhouette Special SSS hardtail guitar made in the original Dargie Delight option package!
Serial G13233, date of manufacture February 28th, 2007. Actual weight 6lb 15oz.
This guitar is gently used and in fantastic condition. It does not have any major dings, dents, or scratches. It has been played and exhibits pick marks on and around the pickguard, swirls around the knobs and toggle, etc. There is some tarnishing on the screws, although the chrome hardware and saddles are in excellent shape. The frets are just barely beginning to show signs of wear. There are 2 small scuffs on the face of the guitar, one at the edge of the forearm contour, the other is located near the piezo volume control corner of the pickguard. There is also a very small dimple in the finish on the lower rear edge towards the output jacks – please see photos. This guitar does have two very small hairline finish cracks in the neck pocket.
All of the electronics operate as they should – the piezo volume is equal from saddle to saddle, and the knobs and switch do not have any “scratchiness” when actuated.
The Dargie Delight package was offered as a limited edition, spawned by multiple requests for the color on the Ernie Ball message board. This limited edition features a finish called “Martini Olive Green” and martini glass inlays on a rosewood fretboard. The back of the guitar has a “Dargie Delight Limited Edition” silkscreen below the neckplate.
This one-of-a-kind Dargie Delight Silhouette Special guitar will come with the original hard-shell case, and will ship in factory style packaging.
