Description
With a 4A Flame Koa Top on a ’56 Strat hollow body with F-Hole, this guitar is finished in Aged Fire Mist Gold with white nitro binding under a lacquer finish, and is mated to a ’60s oval “C” profile maple neck with African Blackwood fretboard.
This 2018 NAMM Show Limited Edition Fender Custom Shop Artisan Koa Stratocaster also features a compound radius fretboard (9.50 – 12.0 “) adorned with vintage clay dots, and a neck that was “Midas Coated” to make the grain pop.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with no major dings, dents, fretwear, or shop wear. There are a few minor imperfections which to the best of our ability are shown in photos. The first is a very small dimple near the F-hole. There is a very small hairline scuff on the koa top near the lower strap button, shown circled. There are some very faint white dots and slightly uneven finish on the left face of the headstock, and the clearcoat has lifted from the nut. The tweed case has some minor scuffs but has no tears, rips, or pulls.
