Tracing our roots back to a small village named Magliano Sabina located just outside of Rome in central Italy, for well over 100 years the DuBaldo family (sometimes seen as d’Ubaldo or Dubaldo) has always embraced music. Whether it was serenading one’s love and successfully wooing them away from the Opera in Rome, composing songs that would go on to become folk hits, or even performing multiple times for The Pope, music is truly part of our family’s heritage and blood.
In the year 2023 we proudly celebrate the 70th Anniversary of DuBaldo Music Center, aka “The Platinum Anniversary” while paying tribute to our heritage and at the same time looking towards our future. We are celebrating this extremely significant milestone with a special run of electric guitars, crafted by our dear friends at Ernie Ball / Music Man – another multi-generational family-run business.
We have named our exclusive limited edition “Magliano.” Featuring a custom hand-stained flamed maple top, coupled with a thin burst over a unique Platinum silver finish with just a hint of sparkle flake, these guitars will also have a painted matching headstock, ebony fretboard, standard inlays, and chrome hardware.
